Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
We are currently looking for a large-format printer repair technician for our North Texas region.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of wide-format digital print systems.
- Interact directly with the customers and effectively communicate work performed and resolutions to customer issues.
- Coverage area will require travel, but very rarely overnight.
- Attend training classes as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Field Service Experience
- Wide format printers and/or plotter knowledge.
- Mutoh, Mimaki or other display graphic printer repair experience a plus.
- PLC Experience. Diagnosing down to board level.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the customer in a user-friendly language.
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software systems. Networking knowledge is a plus.
- Oce/HP/Canon experience is a plus.
- Ability to self-manage time and travel. Little supervision required
- Willingness to travel to equipment certification/training as needed
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
- Strong and effective decision-making skills are needed to prioritize workload.
- Technicians must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
